About Yuemi

Hello, fellow Pokemon trainer! Perhaps you are wondering, who is behind Yuemi CustomShop, and what inspired me to create Pokemon terrariums? Find out here on this page! (^v^)

My name is Yue Yang, pronounced like Princess Yue from A:TLA! I am the crafter behind all of these unique Pokemon terrariums, I make every single one of them by myself! Occasionally my husband helps me with advertising and conventions, which I am beyond grateful for! I majored in linguistics from Michigan State University, and decided to pursue a career in entrepreneurship and art while currently pursuing my Masters degree in foreign language teaching! Any pronouns work for me, no preference! :3

I've always liked the arts and crafts as a kid, and I started off with drawing manga and Chinese watercolor! I also paint anime designs on denim jackets hehe :3 I remember seeing another creator post a picture of their handmade Pokeball terrarium, and I was immediately inspired to start my own with my personal creative style! Now, I've expanded to Gameboy terrariums and other Pokemon and plant related crafts. Never be afraid to start and try something new :D

- I play Genshin Impact a little bit too much (what's grass idk)

- I am a simp for danmei novels (wangxian my loves <3)

- My favorite kpop band is Seventeen (any Junhui stans?)

- I communicate primarily in memes

- My favorite color(s) are teal, seafoam green, light cyan, and ocean colors.
